This isn't just a statuette; it's a cinematic still. The sculpture captures the precise moment Cruella de Vil ceases to be an eccentric aristocrat and transforms into the "devil" her name suggests. The car isn't just a means of transportation, but an extension of her psyche: elongated, aggressive, and menacing. The contrast between the rigidity of the (simulated) metal and the fluidity of the fur coat overflowing from the passenger compartment creates a visual tension that immediately captures the eye.
Questa non è una semplice statuetta, è un fermoimmagine cinematografico. La scultura cattura il momento preciso in cui Crudelia De Mon smette di essere un'aristocratica eccentrica per trasformarsi nel "diavolo" che il suo nome suggerisce. L’auto non è solo un mezzo di trasporto, ma un’estensione della sua psiche: allungata, aggressiva e minacciosa. Che dire… Un' opera egregia. Jim Shore si è superato. Il carillon è spettacolare, le dimensioni sono notevoli ed il tutto è rappresentato in ogni minimo dettaglio. Un pezzo che non può assolutamente mancare nella collezione.
