Zombillénium, created and drawn by Arthur de Pins, is a truly original universe that immediately caught our attention!

Among the multitude of charismatic (and more or less living…) characters, Gretchen quickly stood out from the crowd.

Far from the classic aesthetics of comic-book heroines, you find yourself, page after page, discovering and appreciating the charm of this strong-willed witch.

And don’t be fooled by her detached expression—a single broom-skateboard ride is all it takes for her to come swooping down on you!

Arthur de Pins, who followed the project from start to finish, shares his thoughts:

“Gretchen is a character with very minimal expressions and poses. The complete opposite of a 1960s cartoon or comic-book character. With Éric, we opted for a simple pose, where Gretchen looks relaxed and cool. She is neither defiant nor mischievous, nor fearful. She is simply there, standing perfectly straight, superbly ignoring you.”
